Help make Remembrance Day a National Holiday : Phillip Anderson
I recently wrote to the editor of the Toronto Sun outlining this cause and suggesting that perhaps Victoria Day should be changed to Vetrans Day Canada. A day where we as a natiion could pay homage to those who gave it all as well as those still with us. The reasoning behind this suggestion was to not only achieve our goal but to do it in such a way that the concerns of employers could be met at no additional cost to them. What I am asking is this. Could each of you please email the sun and quite simply write in the subject line. Lets set aside one full day for our vets and their families.
