We must never forget or deny this. Though I thought I knew a lot about what happened at these camps, this still opened-- and brought tears of shame of the human capacity for cruelty, and horror-- to my eyes.
God bless all those who suffered.

I have come across a name on business correspondence from materials found hidden inside a US (formerly Wehrmacht) barracks in Frankfurt. The correspondence mentions the name of Oberscharfuhrer Karl Heinemann who was attached to the SS Totenkopf unit Buchenwald-Weimar. Do you have any records of this person? I have initially consulted the Holocaust Archives in Washington DC as well as the Simon Wiesenthal organization in Los Angeles. To date, there is no record of this person. Have you any record? Any suggestions where I might look?
