513/17 A/B Div Photos (from Vet) (processed)

I have never got a lot things from Veterans. I have never got a lot because I do not make money of these items as well as I can’t simply imagine beggin and beggin and beggin for an helmet, a combat jacket or wartime souvenirs from these men who figthed in Europa during 1940-1945. Sure I had every doors open and conducted letters exchanges with many of them like Gen. Ridgway, Gen. Miley, Gen. Yarborougth, Gen. Ryder, Gen. Gavin, Gen. Jones and many other hight brasses. I interviewed probably more than 1500 Combat Soldiers and again I never asked for something.
All this was done on my own cost and I never let a Vetaran pay for something beside all these “wanabes” and “campfellowers” were only asking for helmets, jackets, et even some for money.
Today, we are in 2008. This mean that all these combat soldiers are regrouping somewhere in a special place only know to God. Day after day I am getting letter trlling me that this trooper passed away and this one to.
Some very good historians are taking care of the memory of thse mens as I do since more than 20 years. I will trying to keep this runing till I passe it to my son Gary and if he doesn’t jump in it I will pack all my material in a box and send it to Carlisle Barrack.
I am not an expert in English but I think that everyone can understand what I am feeling and what I am typing.
So please notice that I am asking Veterans and Verterans Relatives for help in anyway they can imagine. You can send me anything from a single patch to a whole C-47 Skytrain. I will be able to handle this.
Since 1980 I was planing to build “The Bulge Museum”. Unfortunatly I never meet the guy who had enought guts and money to follow me in this project. I’m not sure about the way we’ll have to use to teach the following generations about World War Two, but I suppose we will find something.
This is my last request message as I hate to begg for something.
